How Do I Reconfirm My SASSA Application

Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide for reconfirming your SASSA SRD R350 grant application:

  1. Visit the Official SASSA Website: Open your internet browser and go to the official website of SASSA by typing srd.sassa.gov.za in the address bar and pressing “Enter”.
  2. Access the Reconfirmation Section: On the SASSA website, look for the tab or link labelled “Reconfirm Existing Application”. Click on it to proceed.
  3. Enter Your Personal Details: Once you’re on the reconfirmation page, you’ll see a form asking for your Personal ID number and Cell Phone number. Carefully enter these details in the respective fields.
  4. Review the Declaration and Consent Form: After entering your personal details, you’ll be presented with the SASSA Declaration and Consent Form. Take your time to read through it carefully to ensure you understand the information.
  5. Verify Your Information and Documents: Check all the personal information and documents you previously submitted with your application. Make sure everything is accurate and up to date.
  6. Update Any Mistakes: If you notice any mistakes in your information or documents, don’t worry. You can make corrections by following the instructions provided on the website.
  7. Verify Your Contact Details: Ensure that your contact details, including your phone number, are correct and up to date. This is crucial for SASSA to communicate with you regarding your grant application.
  8. Confirm Your Financial Situation: You’ll be asked to confirm your current financial situation. This helps SASSA determine your eligibility for the grant and ensure you receive the correct amount.
  9. Review Your Banking Details: If you provided banking details for the grant payment, double-check that the Bank Name, Bank Account Number, and Account Type are all correct. This ensures that your grant money is deposited into the right account.
  10. Explore Payment Options: If you don’t have a bank account, don’t worry. SASSA offers alternative payment methods through various retailers like Pick n Pay, Shoprite, USave, Checkers, etc. You can choose the option that works best for you.
  11. Submit Your Reconfirmation Form: Once you’ve reviewed and confirmed all your details, submit the reconfirmation form. This notifies SASSA that you’ve completed the process and are ready to receive your monthly benefits.
  12. Wait for Approval: After submitting your reconfirmation form, all that’s left to do is wait for SASSA to process your application and approve your payment dates. Be patient, and keep an eye out for any communication from SASSA regarding your grant.

So, there you have it! Reconfirming your SASSA application is easy when you know the steps.

Double-check your personal details, verify your banking information, and submit the reconfirmation form.

With everything in order, you’ll be all set to receive your SASSA benefits without any hassle.
