Job Description
The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) offers a 24-month internship in the Learning Programmes Operations unit, designed to develop skills in coordinating and implementing learnerships, bursaries, internships, and artisan development initiatives. Interns will work in a dynamic environment, supporting learner registrations, data capturing, and provider support to drive transformation and skills development in South Africa’s mining and minerals sector.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resource Development, or Project Management
- Unemployed South African youth
- No prior participation in an internship programme
- South African citizenship
Responsibilities
- Support coordination of learnerships, bursaries, internships, and artisan development initiatives
- Assist with learner registrations and data capturing
- Provide support to training providers
- Monitor implementation of learning programmes
- Contribute to skills development initiatives in the mining sector
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure programme efficiency
- Perform administrative tasks related to learning programmes
