Warehouse Manager

Job Description

The Warehouse Manager at Danone is responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operation, including the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. This role requires an experienced leader who can manage a team, optimize processes, and ensure that all key objectives related to safety, quality, service, and cost are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG supply chain operations and be knowledgeable about logistics legislation.

Requirements

• 3 year Supply Chain degree or equivalent
• Up to date with logistics legislation, development and best practice
• Minimum 8 – 10 years’ experience in FMCG supply chain operations
• SAP Experience preferred
• Proven experience in warehouse operations and productivity initiatives.
• Experience in leading, managing and developing people
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office), numeracy and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse operations manager oversees the receipt, storage and dispatch of products in a safe and efficient way.
• He/she mobilizes his/her team and sets up the right processes and tools to ensure his/her site’s main objectives are met in terms of Safety, Quality, Service and Costs.
