Assist in policy tracking, coordination of advocacy efforts, and drafting legislative and strategic documents through this internship within the policy development unit.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Development Policy, Political Sciences, Economics, Humanities or Social Sciences
- Unemployed graduate between the age of 18 and 35
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Detail orientation
- Self-Motivated
- Basic Computer skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Willingness and ability to learn
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
- Willing to travel at short notice
- Extremely High confidentiality and tact
Responsibilities
- Track and monitor legislative and policy developments
- Identify stakeholders and networks for engagement
- Coordinate internal policy advocacy initiatives
- Draft legislative and policy documents
- Compile monthly and quarterly policy reports
