Job Description
The University of the Witwatersrand is seeking a Lecturer in Economics to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Econometrics and international finance, with a focus on firm-level analysis. Requirements
- Coursework Master’s degree in Economics with an excellent academic record
- Teaching experience in Econometrics
- Teaching experience in international finance
- Proficiency in R
- Ability to teach Econometrics using R Statistical Software
- Research focus grounded in firm-level analysis (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in research
- Teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Participate actively in the running of the School through administration and academic citizenship activities
