Job Description

Capitec Bank is seeking a senior design leader to join as a Manager: Design. This role involves working alongside the Executive Creative Director to define and drive the bank's creative direction. The manager will be responsible for evolving the visual identity and design systems, leading a high-performance team, and championing creative excellence to build a world-class brand.

Requirements

• 10+ years in brand, graphic, or visual design
• At least 8 years in a leadership role
• A portfolio that reflects strong conceptual thinking and refined craft across brand and digital
• Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing design teams
• Motion graphics and animation experience
• Deep understanding of design systems, brand building and creative operations
• Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Love for innovation
• Leadership qualities that energise teams and elevate the work
• Clear criminal and credit record
• Willing to be contacted via own cell phone due to inherent requirement of the job to be mobile

• Collaborate across copy, product, CX, UX and marketing to deliver integrated, insight-led solutions
