Intern: Registrations Consultant

Job Description

Join Sage’s Sales team as a Registrations Consultant Intern, assisting clients through accounting and payroll product registration processes. This hybrid internship offers practical experience in customer service, system data handling, and support operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Completed Grade 12 / Matric
• Completed Marketing, Business Administration, or Business Management degree or diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Positive attitude with a passion for exceeding customer expectations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer focus and service ethic
• Ability to simplify processes and communicate clearly
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Team-oriented with cooperation and willingness to assist
• Deadline-driven with ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Eagerness to learn and grow
• Availability to start on 1st October 2025 for 12 months
• Willingness to complete assessment, video interview, and participate in an Assessment Centre

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer queries via phone, email, and chat
• Ensure all inbound incidents through Netadmin/Evolution are addressed by end of day
• Maintain abandoned call rates under 5% during off-peak and under 10% during peak periods
• Perform necessary troubleshooting to achieve first call resolution
• Deliver professional customer service as per QA standards
• Follow all Sage Pastel support policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate customer registration data on internal systems
• Attend mandatory training, coaching, and meetings as scheduled
