Job Description
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is offering EPWP Opportunities to unemployed South African youth for the role of Assistant Town Planners (Land Use Management). The programme will run for a period not exceeding eleven months. Interns will be required to sign an internship agreement, in addition to an employment contract, committing to full participation in educational and workplace assignments in accordance with laid-down policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree (NQF 6/7) in Town Planning or any tertiary qualification related to the Regional Planning discipline
- Computer Literacy – MS Applications
- Communication skills
- Batho Pele Principle Ethics
- South African citizenship
- Unemployed status
Responsibilities
- Support spatial planning and development initiatives to ensure spaza shops compliance
