Job Description

Giesecke+Devrient Mobile Security is offering a 12-month internship opportunity for a Software Intern to join the Digital Offering team in Johannesburg. The role provides hands-on exposure to innovative and secure digital solutions that enable trust in a connected world.

Requirements

• Recent graduate in Information Technology or related fields
• Computer Science or IT qualification preferred
• Knowledge of cloud computing, PaaS/SaaS (qualification helpful but not required)
• Knowledge of telecommunication and networking technology
• Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and client environments
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to learn, contribute actively, and take ownership of tasks
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Effective communication and team collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Support Digital Offering team with day-to-day sales support activities including updating documentation and solution information
• Gather working knowledge of product catalogue applications
• Liaise between Product Management and Sales teams on solution requirements
• Attend and provide input at internal technical pre-sales meetings
• Assist Project Managers to drive project closure when required
• Learn and maintain knowledge of industry, market, and solutions portfolio
