Deloitte is offering a Tax Graduate Internship Programme through its Africa Talent initiative for 2026. The programme targets recent graduates in commerce, law, and taxation who are eager to develop specialist tax consulting skills. After an intensive 4-month training phase, successful candidates will transition into junior consultant roles supporting global clients across diverse tax challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with majors in Law, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation (Honours) is a prerequisite
• Strong interest in tax consulting and solving complex business problems
• Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-border teams
• Willingness to learn and grow in a high-performance environment
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in an intensive 4-month technical training programme
• Advise local and international clients on tax planning and compliance
• Collaborate with global Deloitte teams on real-world tax matters
• Work on projects including corporate tax, transfer pricing, and VAT
• Develop expertise in niche areas such as international tax or tax technology
• Engage in structured mentorship and coaching throughout the internship
• Contribute to solving complex global and African tax challenges
• Progress into a Tax Junior Consultant role after training completion
