Job Description

Anna's Kitchen in Three Rivers, Vereeniging seeks friendly, energetic waiters and shop assistants to provide excellent customer service, manage orders and payments, maintain cleanliness, and support smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in food service
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and carry trays
• Knowledge of restaurant policies, procedures, menu rotation, and food safety regulations
• Strong customer service skills with attentiveness, patience, and professionalism
• Clear communication skills with customers and team members
• Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills for billing and payment processing
• Teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Proficiency in upselling and promoting menu items

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly service
• Take food and drink orders and make menu recommendations
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
• Handle customer complaints tactfully and ensure satisfaction
• Process payments and manage tabs accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and order in dining and shop areas
• Assist with general cleaning duties
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and health regulations
