Job Description
Role involves carrying out various electronic workshop tasks including assembly, repair, fault finding, calibration, and testing of electronic equipment. Duties also cover installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic components and systems, reading circuit drawings, sourcing and fabricating replacement parts, completing documentation, and other related workshop activities. Candidates able to work on PC boards will also be considered.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 plus National Diploma in Electronic Communication, Applied Electronics, or Instrumentation (essential)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in electronic repairs
- Preferred 1 year NDT experience or NDT Medical experience
- Unendorsed driver's licence
- Willingness to travel from time to time
- Experience with SAP and CRM
- Must currently reside in the Vereeniging area
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems
- Carry out fault finding, calibration, and testing of electronic equipment
- Read and interpret circuit drawings accurately
- Source and fabricate replacement parts as required
- Complete necessary documentation for workshop activities
- Perform various other duties in the workshop as assigned
- Work on PC boards when required
- Travel occasionally for work purposes
