The Specialist: Actuarial Data Scientist role involves providing specialist advice and support in the development and implementation of actuarial services, focusing on actuarial pricing and data science in a short-term insurance background. The position is fully remote and enables the provision of sound commercial and financial expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in actuarial services
• At least 12 actuarial exams passed
• Experience in actuarial pricing in a short-term insurance background
• Experience in data science in a short-term insurance background

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial administrative and operations support against standard operating procedures
• Provide support to customers and team as required on an ongoing basis
• Fulfil all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements
• Fulfil all activities in adherence to quality standards
