OUTsurance is offering a hands-on internship within the Motor Assessing team in the Claims department. The program is aimed at providing practical exposure to the salvage process in a fast-paced insurance environment. This opportunity is suited for detail-oriented individuals passionate about vehicle claims, client service, and operations support within the motor sector.

Requirements

• Matric qualification or equivalent
• NQF4 in Motor Mechanics or equivalent
• Computer literacy essential; Excel experience is compulsory
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Self-disciplined and self-motivated
• Problem-solving ability and initiative

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Finance Houses/Banks to obtain NATIS documents
• Process NATIS documents and prepare them for service providers
• Process salvage payments upon receipt
• Arrange salvage collections with auctioneers
• Load service provider stock numbers
• Handle salvage-related queries from stakeholders
• Liaise with clients, investigators, advisors, and service providers regarding documentation
• Validate, investigate, and finalise salvage claims within targets
• Maintain and update all records related to salvage processing
• Complete all administrative duties related to salvage claims
• Ensure performance and quality standards are met
