Sales Executive Used Vehicles

Job Description

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while achieving defined sales targets for used vehicles. The position requires a results-driven professional who can manage relationships, maintain compliance with dealership policies, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Requirements

• 2-3 years experience in the same or similar role
• Matric / Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in the Motor Industry
• Vehicle sales experience

Responsibilities

• Sell the maximum number of units possible
• Maintain profits within company requirements
• Ensure all customers are introduced to the F&I
• Ensure customers are made aware of all accessories on offer
• Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Follow the 'Road To A Sale' process with every customer
• Maintain the company's marketing system (Higher Gear) with discipline
• Accurately complete deal files in line with company policy
• Ensure CPA documentation is completed according to law
• Ensure company documentation is correct and recorded
• Ensure displays and shows are properly staffed
• Maintain full knowledge of current company specials
• Meet prospecting targets
• Reach Fuel-Online targets
• Maintain full product knowledge
• Adhere to the company's discounting policy
• Keep demo vehicles clean and maintained
• Comply with the invoicing policy
• Ensure vehicles are delivered without defects
• Ensure costings align with final profit reports (VHP515)
• Introduce customers to key dealership personnel upon delivery
• Ensure deposits or shortfalls are collected before delivery
• Deliver cash deals only when fully paid
• Do not invoice vehicles not paid within the month
• Inform customers of the dealership's payment policy
• Ensure customer quotes are signed off by management
• Do not authorize supplier work without approval
• Perform reasonable requests from management outside job description
