Psychometrist Internship

Job Description

The Human Capital department at OUTsurance is offering a structured Psychometrist Internship program for unemployed graduates. This work-based opportunity provides hands-on experience within a high-performance HR team. Candidates will support day-to-day HR functions, learning key operational and strategic elements of the profession in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The internship is not an employment contract and will be offered on a fixed-term basis with a stipend.

Requirements

• Matric or equivalent
• Completed Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology or registration with HPCSA as a Psychometrist or completed Psychometrist Board-exam
• No prior work experience required
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must not have participated in an INSETA Internship/Learnership before
• Aged between 18 and 35
• Unemployed for at least the last 2 months
• Practical completed (advantageous)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy
• Organisational ability
• Self-discipline and motivation
• Deadline and results-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail
• Sense of ownership and responsibility
• Excellent administrative skills
• Tolerance for stress

Responsibilities

• Support the Human Resource team with day-to-day administrative and operational activities
• Gain exposure to HR functions within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Participate in a structured internship learning program
• Demonstrate alignment of personal values with OUTsurance culture
• Engage in development opportunities provided within the internship framework
