Job Description

The PSG Financial Services Graduate Programme for 2026 is a 12-month structured initiative designed for talented university graduates to fast-track their careers in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Insurance, and Finance. Based at Tygerfalls The Edge in Cape Town, the programme offers hands-on experience, mentorship from senior leaders, and continuous professional training. Interns will engage with real-world business challenges and client interactions, building both technical and interpersonal skills in a dynamic, supportive environment aimed at nurturing future leaders in South Africa’s financial services sector.

Requirements

  • Valid South African ID
  • South African citizenship
  • Average of 65% or above in academic records
  • Completed or completing in 2025 a Bachelor’s, Honours, Master’s, or PhD degree in one of the following fields: Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematical Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Law, Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics, Investment Management, or Information Systems
  • Strong leadership potential
  • Passion for financial services
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Ability to complete an online assessment (where applicable)
  • Willingness to participate in interviews and psychometric testing

Responsibilities

  • Engage in real-world business challenges in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Insurance, or Finance
  • Participate in client interactions to support financial services delivery
  • Complete on-the-job training to develop technical skills
  • Attend training workshops to enhance soft and technical skills
  • Work under mentorship from senior leaders to guide professional development

  • Apply academic knowledge to practical financial services projects

  • Contribute to PSG’s innovation and client-focused initiatives
