OUTsurance is hiring a Broker in Bellville to drive business growth through personal and commercial short-term insurance sales. This full-time role falls under the Tied Agent Model, providing tools and support for success. The broker will work independently and as part of a team to prospect, canvass, and close deals while offering tailored financial advice. Requirements

• Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access
• Valid Code B driver’s license
• 3 years of face-to-face external sales experience
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, and relationship management
• FAIS credits or full insurance qualifications (if applicable)
• RE5 certification (if applicable)
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong business acumen
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Analytical and numerical reasoning skills

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a book of short-term insurance business
• Sell personal and commercial lines products
• Prospect and canvas for new business
• Participate in a 6-week training program
• Utilize company-provided tools: fuel card, laptop, and phone
• Work closely with the regional manager and commercial team
• Uphold OUTsurance values in daily tasks and client interactions
• Engage in relationship building and ongoing client support
