Job Description

MSE Consulting is offering an Environmental Internship opportunity at its Johannesburg office. Interns will gain hands-on experience working on real-world environmental projects including environmental assessments, audits, monitoring, and hydrogeological surveys. The programme is designed to equip young graduates with the skills and exposure necessary for a career in environmental consulting.

Requirements

Hold or be in final year of a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 6/7 or higher) in one of the following fields:
Environmental Science / Environmental Management
Geology
Geohydrology / Hydrogeology
Environmental Engineering
Water and Earth Sciences
Postgraduate qualification in these fields is an added advantage

Responsibilities

Assist in environmental impact assessments and site audits
Support environmental monitoring activities
Participate in hydrogeological fieldwork and stakeholder engagement
Contribute to technical reporting and data analysis
Gain familiarity with South African environmental legislation and consulting practices
