Motor Assessing Internship

Job Description

OUTsurance is offering a 12-month internship within the Motor Assessing team in the Claims department. This structured program provides hands-on exposure to insurance processes in a motor claims environment. Interns will support operational tasks while gaining valuable experience under the guidance of a high-performing team in a fast-paced setting. The internship is not a permanent position and includes a stipend.

Requirements

• Matric qualification or equivalent
• NQF4 in Motor Mechanics or equivalent
• Computer literacy is essential; Excel experience is compulsory
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Self-disciplined and self-motivated
• Problem-solving skills and initiative
• Deadline and results-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail
• Takes ownership and responsibility
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must not have been part of an INSETA Internship before
• Aged between 18 and 35
• Unemployed in the last 2 months

Responsibilities

• Support the Motor Assessing team with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Assist in handling motor claims operations
• Gain hands-on experience in a structured insurance environment
• Deliver service aligned with OUTsurance standards and deadlines
