This Junior Key Account Manager position is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to begin a career in account management with a global beauty leader. You will play a vital role in supporting senior managers, fostering strong relationships with our key retail partners in the Drug channel, and contributing directly to our sales growth and market share. This role requires a blend of analytical skill, customer interaction, and administrative support, offering a comprehensive immersion into the dynamics of the fast-paced beauty industry. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure our brands are represented perfectly in-store.

  • Must be adaptable and resilient, with a willingness to embrace change and handle pressure.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
  • Experience with Nielsen and customer platform analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong data analytics and presentation skills, with an ability to tell a story with data.
  • Experience with forecasting and inventory management is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and e-commerce concepts.
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers within assigned Drug channel retailers.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, ensuring prompt communication regarding orders, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of account-specific sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyze customer buying habits and market trends to identify opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Support the planning and execution of new product launches and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments like marketing, supply chain, and finance to coordinate projects seamlessly.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of promotions and resolve any challenges related to stock or point-of-sale materials.
  • Maintain all account administration, including master data, pricing, and promotional calendars.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are accurate and compliant with internal controls.
  • Prepare compelling presentations for both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-in/sell-through rates and market share.
  • Regularly report on performance to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
