Foundation Phase and Intermediate Phase Internship

Job Description

Bishops Pre-Prep and Prep is offering full-time internships to 3rd or 4th-year students completing a BEd, PGCE, or Honours degree via a recognised distance learning institution. Interns will receive mentorship from experienced teachers, participate in academic and extra-mural activities, and gain hands-on teaching experience in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate with a matriculation endorsement
• Current registration for a BEd, PGCE, or Honours qualification through an accredited institution
• Strong academic record
• Genuine passion for working with young children
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute positively to the school community
• South African citizenship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• Enthusiasm for contributing to the school’s extra-mural programme
• Willingness to engage in various school duties
• Alignment with the values and ethos of Bishops
