Job Description

Unilever is seeking a dedicated Execution Planner to join their team. This pivotal role involves translating the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into a detailed, daily production schedule for a one-week horizon. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, ensuring that factory capacities are optimally utilized and that any operational changes are promptly fed back to the planning hub. A key component of this position is fostering a strong working relationship with factory teams to drive effective plan adoption and maintain operational efficiency. This is a chance to play a critical role in the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring production goals are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Relevant Tertiary Education (Degree: Supply Chain or Finance)
• Experience in the general supply chain and planning
• Further studies in supply chain, including APICS/SAPICS qualification, would be beneficial
• Planning and functional business process knowledge
• Business partnering experience
• Understand S&OP process & cadence
• Experience working and interacting with all levels in a business
• FMCG experience will be advantageous
• Experience working with SAP (in factory) will be beneficial
• Future-fit planning skills (Curiosity and Agility; Impact through technology)

Responsibilities

• Review previous week's performance against the schedule and align on production orders to be carried over.
• Collaborate with factories to confirm inputs for line scheduling, such as factory calendar and labor.
• Create daily production schedules in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Ensure materials are available and warehouse capacity constraints are considered before publishing schedules.
• Partner with factory operations teams to challenge and adjust schedules as needed.
• Provide feedback to the L2 Planning Hub to continuously improve future MPS.
• Adjust schedules as necessary to incorporate innovations, breakdowns, and unplanned maintenance.
• Monitor and drive operational conformance to the production schedule.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the factory and the L2 Hub, communicating necessary information.
• Manage the volume of product remaining from changeovers and rework activities.
• Propose adjustments to the MPS to resolve constraints and manage unexpected shutdowns or extraordinary events.
• Convert Planned Orders to Process Orders and flag any risks to delivering volume.
• Work with operations to generate run sequences that minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Review weekly factory performance against plan and provide input to the weekly OR loss tree.
• Report on losses and improvement plans in weekly meetings.
• Execute material write-offs for product launches and maintain accurate run-out schedules.
• Provide input for MOC for Finished Goods.
• Support working capital reduction plans at the site, flagging opportunities for reduction.
• Execute actions on finished goods that are slow-moving or obsolete (SLOB).
• Provide and validate input data for the Inventory Planning Model and other master data.
• Perform regular scheduling data health checks.
• Work closely with the supply planning team to update customer service reports and provide recovery information.
• Capture OR losses and provide data for CCFOT loss analysis.
• Support S&OP Supply Meeting preparation and attendance when required.
