Requirements

  • University degree or diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Estate and/or Facilities Management
  • Experience working within a strongly regulated environment
  • Strong experience in assessment, reporting, and building thorough action plans
  • Technical knowledge and capabilities
  • High level of computing skills
  • Demonstrates fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Previous experience in property management, project management, or similar
  • Sound knowledge of infrastructure and grounds

Responsibilities

  • Meet with school management weekly to discuss plans, events, and general estate requirements
  • Ensure all buildings, infrastructure, and grounds are well-maintained, secured, and compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Manage daily estate operations, including service staff, schedules, upkeep, and bookings
  • Allocate job cards and responsibilities, supervise work in progress, and sign off on completed tasks
  • Audit buildings and facilities regularly and compile inspection records
  • Arrange and record the servicing of equipment, plant, machinery, systems, and vehicles
  • Ensure the school’s vehicle fleet is roadworthy, in excellent condition, and licensing is up to date
  • Act as a second contact for Armed Response and onsite Service Providers
  • Facilitate setup for functions and events
  • Liaise with relevant staff to ensure smooth running of events and functions
  • Assist with the evaluation and performance review of service staff
  • Manage all administrative functions relevant to the Estates department’s requirements
  • Ensure appropriate and relevant information is communicated to staff
