Data Scientist

Job Description

Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced quantitative analytical methods and mathematical models. Provide analytical support using advanced analytics technologies to address business challenges and drive strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Data Scientist
• Degree in Mathematics or Bachelor of Science
• Proficiency in model development, including statistical and machine learning models
• Experience translating business needs into analytical solutions (predictive modeling, deep learning, text analytics)
• Ability to maintain, audit, and optimize models
• Knowledge of ethical data use and privacy compliance
• Data wrangling skills to improve data quality
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to define metrics and deliver insights
• Familiarity with data commercialization and strategic improvement identification
• Expertise in tools such as Python, SAS, and statistical software
• Strong data visualization capabilities
• Applied knowledge of mathematical concepts like linear algebra and calculus
• Experience with governance, compliance standards, and legislative requirements
• Mentorship experience and contribution to knowledge sharing
