Data Analyst

Job Description

THE SKILLS MINE is seeking a Data Analyst to support operational efficiency and workforce management through real-time attendance tracking and analysis. The role involves creating actionable insights from data, supporting decision-making processes, and working with dashboard tools, BI platforms, and statistical methods.

Requirements

• Certification in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision making
• Experience with data visualisation and dashboard tools (Power BI, ZOHO)
• Ability to conduct trend and statistical analysis to identify patterns and insights
• Strong knowledge of Excel including advanced functions and pivot tables
• Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) platforms
• Experience with Profit, Velocity, SAP, or similar operational systems (advantageous)
• Skills in Data Analysis, Data Science, Excel, Power BI, SAP, SAP BI, and Statistical Analysis

Responsibilities

• Monitor attendance in real-time by comparing actual hours worked against planned schedules and identifying variances such as overtime, absenteeism, understaffing, and rostering inefficiencies
• Analyse attendance trends and determine root causes
• Collaborate with the workforce management team to adjust rosters and staffing decisions using data insights to enhance efficiency and align with client needs
• Raise escalations when attendance deviates from the planned schedule
• Escalate absence and lateness issues to the Workforce Management team for coordination with HR
