As a Comminution Solutions Manager in Roodepoort, you’ll play a critical role in bridging customer inquiries and technical solutions at FLSmidth. This position focuses on early engagement with clients, refining flowsheets, and driving capital sales growth through process optimization and innovative testing. Collaborate globally to deliver tailored solutions for large-scale mining projects, ensuring FLSmidth’s competitive edge in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead effective early engagement with customers, EPCs, sub-suppliers, laboratories, and consultants to ensure strong FLSmidth influence on flowsheet design, equipment sizing, and selection
• Manage relationships with innovation groups in key accounts
• Screen projects together with Sales team and PLMs to ensure effective selection of projects and proper allocation of functional resources
• Conduct high-level process audits to increase brownfield project opportunities through geographical expansion of process optimization capabilities
• Develop lab and pilot testing for complex projects and integrated solutions in collaboration with MTRC and Global Labs
• Offer the best technological solutions and prove benefits of FLSmidth’s existing and innovative technologies
• Provide active technical support to regional capital sales for key large Greenfield and Brownfield projects, developing flowsheets and presenting technical solutions to customers
• Provide effective technical support to the Global Proposal Team for key large Greenfield and Brownfield projects to ensure FLSmidth’s winning position
