Banking Advisor

Job Description

FNB seeks a Banking Advisor to proactively manage a portfolio of affluent clients alongside Private Bankers. The role involves providing analysis, research, sales, and service fulfillment aimed at growing client portfolios through effective stakeholder management and service excellence within the Private Banking & Advisory Team.

Requirements

• RE5 Certificate with Degree NQF7 (FSCA Approved) in Finance or Accounting
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in Sales or Service within a financial environment, banking preferred
• Clean credit record per National Credit Act (NCA)
• Not unrehabilitated insolvent
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Ability to comply with statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of affluent clients with Private Bankers
• Identify opportunities for new client acquisition and portfolio growth
• Build trust-based client relationships
• Contribute to a culture of service excellence and obtain client feedback
• Market financial services solutions relevant to the business
• Manage leads pipeline effectively to support profit growth
• Produce quality work within deadlines
• Comply with all relevant regulations and internal policies
