Building Administrator FACT

Job Description

Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) is hiring a Building Administrator for FACT to ensure the safety, security, and maintenance of ATNS buildings and infrastructure. The role involves overseeing maintenance, coordinating emergency procedures, and managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with health, safety, and ISO standards. The administrator will also handle tenant requests and support building projects.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Built Environment
• Valid code 8 driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine preventive and corrective maintenance on ATNS buildings and infrastructure
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality
• Implement emergency procedures and coordinate evacuations
• Coordinate maintenance work, including repairs and renovations
• Monitor utilities usage and report issues
• Ensure proper waste disposal and building cleanliness
• Develop and implement emergency procedures
• Coordinate evacuations, fire drills, and emergency exercises
• Manage subcontractors for security, pest control, painting, cleaning, and gardening
• Supervise maintenance of fire extinguishers, electricians, and plumbers
• Supervise ATNS vehicles’ logbooks, licenses, permits, and service schedules
• Address tenant complaints and requests
• Assist with new building projects or upgrades
• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures
