Dymaxa seeks an experienced Admin Clerk / Junior Bookkeeper to support creditor payments and financial administration for a private psychiatric clinic in Berea, Durban. The role involves invoice processing, reconciliations, cashbook transactions, and stock control.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience in creditors or bookkeeping roles within a similar environment
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Pastel or similar
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Competent in office equipment usage
Responsibilities
- Capture supplier invoices accurately in accounting systems
- Ensure invoices comply with authorization policies and supporting documentation
- Allocate invoices according to IFRS and tax invoice requirements
- Perform weekly and monthly creditor reconciliations
- Send remittance advices to suppliers after payments
- Maintain completeness of supplier invoices and payment batches
- Monitor creditor balances and approved payment terms
- Raise valid and accurate expense accruals
- Manage open purchase orders
- Handle cashbook transactions
- Perform stock and consumables control and reporting
