Transaction Senior Manager - Cash Management

TMF Group is seeking a Transaction Senior Manager to lead the Cash Management team, overseeing back and middle office functions for a diverse portfolio of transactions. You will manage client relationships, ensure compliance with transaction documents, and drive operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, cash management expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services in a dynamic financial environment.

Requirements

• Degree Qualifications (2.1 or above) or equivalent in accounting or finance
• At least 4 years relevant experience in a similar cash management role
• Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Familiarity with Bloomberg
• Advanced understanding of structured products, securitisation vehicles, and cash management processes
• Client service skills
• Working knowledge of Sentry and Loan IQ (advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the team, ensuring effective planning and coordination of workloads and cyclical client requirements
• Stay updated on industry and process changes and implement new initiatives in operations
• Collaborate with product development to implement system, IT, and model improvements
• Act as the focal point for the team to internal and external stakeholders on daily operational escalations
• Collaborate with Head of Capital Markets, Head of Loan Administration, and CMS management on capacity planning, staffing, team development, and role charters
• Act as primary owner of assigned deals, managing and communicating deal information to borrowers and lending group clients
• Maintain expert knowledge of all relevant portfolios and deal-related documentation
• Liaise with clients, external transaction parties, and internal deal teams for smooth setup and ongoing management
• Review operational flow and transaction documentation
• Establish processes and procedures in TMF Group systems
• Administer debt structures as per transaction documentation
• Discharge calculation agent duties, including building and running waterfalls and investor reporting
• Perform administrative obligations under transaction documents
• Liaise with appointed servicers regarding underlying collateral
• Perform cash management duties on monthly payment dates, including calculation and processing of principal and interest distributions
• Produce Monthly Investor Report
• Assist with day-to-day duties across the client portfolio within required timeframes
• Work with clients/servicers to collect and sanitize data on the internal database
• Respond to daily queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare/input payments on various banking systems managed by the cash management team
• Liaise with approvers to process and arrange payments and provide supporting documents
• Monitor bank accounts and confirm transfer of payments
• Prepare cash reconciliation for client bank accounts as required
• Assist with annual billing, onboarding, and internal processes/controls
• Provide assistance with client management tasks, including billing and debt management
• Provide coaching to junior team members when appropriate
• Assist the wider Cash Management team with various tasks as requested
• Implement appropriate controls and procedures to ensure compliance throughout the transaction lifecycle
