Graduate Intern and WIL Student - Teaching Qualifications Policy

Job Description

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Community Education and Training branch, is seeking Graduate Interns and WIL Students for a 24-month fixed-term contract in Teaching Qualifications Policy. The role supports administrative, IT, and financial tasks at the Pretoria Head Office. Due to the high volume of applications anticipated, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

Requirements

• National diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Office Administration, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, or Marketing
• N6 certificate in Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, or Management Assistant
• No previous service as a Graduate Intern or contract worker in the Public Service
• All qualifications subject to verification
• Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
• Subject to citizenship verification, reference checks, and security vetting

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative tasks for teaching qualifications policy development
• Support IT, HR, and financial tasks for policy initiatives
• Compile reports and documentation for policy processes
• Maintain records for administrative and financial tasks
• Collaborate with teams on policy development initiatives
• Provide administrative and technical support
