Job Description
The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Planning, Policy and Strategy branch, is seeking a Graduate Intern for a 24-month fixed-term contract in Social Inclusion and Quality. The role provides administrative support at the Pretoria Head Office. Due to the high volume of applications anticipated, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
Requirements
- National diploma in Management Assistant
- No previous service as a Graduate Intern or contract worker in the Public Service
- All qualifications subject to verification
- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
- Subject to citizenship verification, reference checks, and security vetting
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for social inclusion initiatives
- Assist in coordinating quality assurance programs
- Maintain records for social inclusion activities
- Support preparation of reports and presentations
- Collaborate with teams on quality improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with administrative protocols
