SEO & Content Marketing Specialist

OUTsurance is hiring an experienced SEO & Content Marketing Specialist to lead its organic growth efforts. The position blends deep technical SEO knowledge, content strategy, and innovation in AI-driven search optimization. The ideal candidate will manage performance across multiple platforms, use modern tools for analysis, and stay on the front edge of evolving search behaviors and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
• Strong writing and editing skills with an understanding of content structure and clarity
• Experience with CMS platforms and technical SEO implementation
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization)
• Awareness of how AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) influence content discovery
• Strategic and analytical thinking
• Adaptability to emerging technologies
• Clear and structured communication
• Curiosity and continuous learning
• Collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
• Attention to detail and data-driven decision-making
• Google Analytics or SEO certification (preferred)
• Experience optimizing content for AI-driven search engines and voice assistants (preferred)

• Understanding of E-E-A-T in AI ranking systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword and intent research, including AI-generated queries and semantic search trends
• Perform technical SEO audits and on-page optimizations (metadata, internal linking, page speed)
• Optimize content for traditional and AI-powered search engines (Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Implement structured data and schema markup
• Monitor and resolve crawl errors, broken links, and indexing issues
• Collaborate with developers to implement technical SEO and UX best practices
• Develop and execute content strategies aligned with SEO and AI content consumption trends
• Create and optimize content for voice search, featured snippets, and clarity
• Perform regular website updates using CMS platforms such as WordPress or Sitecore
• Collaborate with creators and designers to maintain SEO and UX standards
• Promote content across digital platforms and analyze its performance
• Build and execute backlink acquisition strategies and track authority metrics
• Stay current with developments in AI search and experiment with AI content tools
• Educate internal teams on evolving search behavior and AI-friendly practices
• Use analytics tools to track and report on performance
• Maintain dashboards and provide data-driven strategic insights
