Lead marketing initiatives for South Africa’s top retail destinations with Mustard Seed Relationship Marketing. This senior role requires strategic vision, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of retail consumer behaviour, contributing to impactful campaigns that connect communities and brands.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years marketing experience, with at least 3 years in retail/shopping centre environment
• Relevant marketing qualification (degree or diploma preferred)
• Proven project management skills handling deadlines, budgets, and briefs
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and retail trends
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills
• Driver’s licence and own transport
• Leadership ability to drive campaigns from concept to completion
• Confidence working with diverse stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and tenants

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns across retail destinations
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and tenants to deliver campaign objectives
• Apply deep retail consumer insights to optimize campaign effectiveness
• Drive event management, promotions, and activations where needed
• Incorporate digital marketing and social media strategies, including influencer campaigns
• Foster community engagement and brand connection through creative initiatives
