Job Description
Salesworx is seeking a Sales Representative for Medical Surgical Devices in Durban Central and South region. This theatre-based selling role focuses on Pain Management, Anaesthesia, Critical Care, Neuromodulation, and Inter-Cranial Pressure devices, targeting Neurosurgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Critical Care specialists. The candidate will maintain strong client relationships, grow new business, and strategically manage the territory to achieve sales goals.
Requirements
- Aptitude, character, and drive for strategic sales
- Trained health professional (advantageous)
- Good level of verbal and written English
- Excellent customer ethic and attention to detail
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate good presentation and training skills
- Ability to complete timely progress reports
- Ability to maintain communications equipment (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
- Possession of locally required certificates for sales position in healthcare business
- Valid driver’s license and frequent use of a motor vehicle
- Ability to lift and carry a moderate amount of materials and supplies
- Ability to complete gowning procedures in hospitals
- Approachable and enthusiastic personality
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player
- Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Good judgment and problem-solving ability
- Ability to understand the impact of decision-making on the organization and customers
Responsibilities
- Sell Pain Management, Anaesthesia, Critical Care, Neuromodulation, and Inter-Cranial Pressure devices
- Maintain strong working relationships with existing clients
- Grow new business through strategic sales efforts
- Set and achieve territory success goals
- Call on Neurosurgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Critical Care specialists
- Demonstrate products to clinical personnel
- Complete timely progress reports
- Maintain communications equipment in excellent working order
- Comply with gowning procedures in hospitals
- Travel domestically and occasionally internationally as required
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Apply good judgment and problem-solving skills in decision-making
