Job Description

A retail business committed to building a world-class, customer-centric retail media network seeks a Media Planning Manager. The role involves leading the planning, commercialisation, and optimisation of media inventory across physical and digital platforms, driving performance at all customer touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in media product management, preferably within a retail or digital environment
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in monetising media assets
  • Excellent project management and multitasking capabilities
  • Solid understanding of both digital and in-store media channels and associated technologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, innovative approach and solution-oriented mindset
  • Passion for media, retail innovation, and delivering value to customers and clients
  • Experience in media planning / buying
  • Experience in project planning
  • Leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery, planning, and reporting of new media channels across physical and digital environments
  • Ensure media solutions are strategically aligned and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Execute a comprehensive media roadmap integrating digital and in-store experiences
  • Drive innovation through testing and implementing new media formats and pilot initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless implementation and operational excellence
  • Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and best practices in digital and in-store media
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to inform product development
  • Use commercial data, campaign results, and stakeholder feedback to refine and improve media offerings
  • Oversee media project implementation from planning through to delivery
  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define KPIs and track campaign performance
  • Support the sales team in delivering best-in-class retail media campaigns
