Graduate Intern - Management Information System

Job Description

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Planning, Policy and Strategy branch, is seeking a Graduate Intern for a 24-month fixed-term contract in Management Information System. The role supports administrative and data management tasks at the Pretoria Head Office. Due to the high volume of applications anticipated, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

Requirements

• National diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or Office Management
• No previous service as a Graduate Intern or contract worker in the Public Service
• All qualifications subject to verification
• Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
• Subject to citizenship verification, reference checks, and security vetting

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing information systems and databases
• Support data collection and reporting processes
• Maintain accurate records for management information
• Collaborate with teams on data-related projects
• Provide administrative support for system operations
• Ensure compliance with data management policies
