PPS Healthcare Administrators (PPSHA) is offering a dynamic 12-month Internship Programme for recent South African graduates eager to break into the medical aid administration industry. This program is designed to provide real-world experience across key business units within PPSHA.

Requirements

• South African citizen
• Aged 18–35 years
• Hold a Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
• Completed a 3-year Degree or National Diploma or Honours in: Commerce, Information Technology, Clinical Medical Associate, or BCur in Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing Science)
• Fluent in English (additional South African languages are a plus)
• Present a professional image with strong time management and administrative skills
• Not currently employed or enrolled in another internship programme
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to medical aid correspondence, claims assessment, and member subscriptions
• Experience clinical administration, underwriting, and new member applications
• Support various business units and participate in formative and summative assessments
• Act as a PPSHA ambassador, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction
• Apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting
• Learn and improve technical, soft, and professional skills
• Build connections with professionals in the field
• Receive guidance and feedback from experienced colleagues
