Job Description

The University of South Africa (UNISA) offers a 12-month internship in the Institutional Advancement Department, focusing on events management. Interns will assist in planning and executing events, coordinating logistics, and liaising with stakeholders, contributing to UNISA’s public engagement. This programme provides mentorship and practical workplace experience for unemployed South African graduates passionate about event planning.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Public Relations, or Hospitality Management (NQF Level 6 or above)
• Unemployed South African citizen
• No formal work experience in the field of application
• No previous participation in an internship programme at UNISA or any other organization
• Age not older than 35 years
• UNISA graduate in the required field of study
• Ability to provide certified copies (not older than 6 months) of South African ID, Matric Certificate, Academic Record, and UNISA qualification
