DTP Art Director

Job Description

Skilled publishing artist responsible for producing product-and-price campaign layouts, adhering strictly to brand guidelines and workflow processes, ensuring high accuracy and seamless delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma in Desktop Publishing or Art Direction highly beneficial
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as DTP Artist or Art Director in an advertising agency, production bureau, or digital environment
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, MacOS
• Familiarity with Figma is an advantage
• Experience with retail business advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capability to handle pressure and tight deadlines
• Willingness to work beyond regular hours occasionally

Responsibilities

• Produce layouts using approved templates and agency workflow databases
• Ensure strict compliance with formatting rules including typography, color, sizing, and brand guidelines
• Use agency licensed DTP software, primarily Adobe InDesign, to deliver layouts
• Manage job briefs and timesheets using Workbook and RMS software
• Meet deadlines consistently, including tight turnaround times
• Adhere fully to agency DTP communication, circulation, and Finished Art processes
• Maintain 100% accuracy on all product details including pricing, SKUs, and specifications
• Double-check pricing and promotional details for correctness
• Ensure consistent visual hierarchy and uniform structure in layouts
• Review layouts meticulously for typographical errors or inconsistencies
• Confirm uniform pricing format and discount details across materials
