Creditors Administrator

Job Description

SAOTA is seeking a detail-oriented Creditors Administrator to manage supplier payments and financial controls across multiple companies within the group. This role requires strong reconciliation skills, invoice processing accuracy, and effective communication to support timely payments and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum two years experience in creditors roles, preferably in multi-company environments
• Matric and bookkeeping or finance qualification
• Proficiency with Pastel accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
• Clear communication skills and proactive team player
• High integrity and discretion in handling confidential data
• Must currently reside in Cape Town, South Africa
• Reliable dedicated workspace and uncapped internet with minimum 20 Mbps upload/download speed

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and accurately capture supplier invoices across multiple entities
• Reconcile supplier statements and creditor ledgers monthly
• Prepare and execute payment runs using EFT and other approved methods
• Maintain intercompany expense records and allocations
• Handle supplier queries and resolve discrepancies professionally
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements
• Provide creditors ageing reports and financial insights to management
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes for all companies
