Job Description

As a Company Secretary Coordinator in Gauteng, you will support governance and assurance processes under the guidance of the Assistant Company Secretary. Your role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and managing functional documentation to ensure compliance with organizational standards. You will facilitate effective communication, handle stakeholder queries, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in a relevant area is essential.
  • 3 years operational experience in a Company Secretary (CoSec) environment is essential.
  • MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Complete trend analysis utilising qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Conduct benchmark and impact studies on completed initiatives.
  • May be required to conduct functional feasibility studies.
  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure all source documentation is confidentially maintained, securely stored, and filed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage storage and filing of functional documentation.
  • Compile and collate functional reports for submission to respective committees and forums.
  • Manage functional communication and reporting.
  • Execute and report on special functional projects.
  • Maintain an effective network and timeous communication in area of influence.
  • Build, support, and maintain healthy internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
  • Implement remedial action when required.
  • Respond to requests, queries, and complaints through the relevant platforms.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and customers to enable high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist with the resolution of escalated requests, queries, and complaints.
