Graduate Intern and WIL Student - College System Infrastructure Planning and Development

Job Description

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Planning, Policy and Strategy branch, is seeking Graduate Interns and WIL Students for a 24-month fixed-term contract in College System Infrastructure Planning and Development. The role supports infrastructure planning initiatives at the Pretoria Head Office. Due to the high volume of applications anticipated, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

Requirements

• National diploma or Degree in Construction Project Management
• N6 certificate in Public Administration
• No previous service as a Graduate Intern or contract worker in the Public Service
• All qualifications subject to verification
• Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
• Subject to citizenship verification, reference checks, and security vetting

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning infrastructure projects for college systems
• Support administrative tasks for project management
• Compile reports and documentation for infrastructure initiatives
• Maintain records for planning and development processes
• Collaborate with teams on infrastructure strategies
• Provide administrative support for project coordination
