Support tender administration and vetting processes as an Admin Officer at the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development. This role involves managing tender documents, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Ideal for a professional with supply chain experience, committed to ensuring transparent procurement processes in the public sector.
Requirements
- An undergraduate qualification at NQF 6 or 7 as recognised by SAQA in Supply Chain Management/Economics/Accounting/Logistics
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in Supply Chain Management
- A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Supply tender documents, collect deposits, and issue receipts
- Compile register of documents issued
- Assist to provide for a dedicated, clearly marked tender box
- Collect documents required for Tender Clarification Meetings
- Record all tenders that were received late
- Return tenders that were received late unopened with letter stating reason for return
- Open each tender in line with procurement specification document
- Mark relevant documentation in line with the Departmental Construction Procurement Procedures
- Publish the names of all tenderers that submitted on time on the Departmental website within 10 workdays after the closure date of the tender for a period of at least 30 days
- Assist in developing a tracking system to control the flow of tender documents from advertising to handing over to Evaluations
- Assist in establishing a filing system for keeping records
- Keep records or submit them to relevant sub directorate
