Telematics Developer

Join Dotsure to build and scale real-time telematics analytics tools using Python, Streamlit, and cloud technologies. Help transform insurance with data-driven insights and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or similar
• 2 to 4 years experience building Python-based data applications (Streamlit, Dash, Flask)
• Advanced skills in Python libraries: Pandas, Plotly, NumPy, SQLAlchemy
• Experience with Streamlit, Reflex, or interactive dashboard frameworks
• Strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, Azure cloud services
• Familiarity with geospatial libraries like GeoPandas or Folium (advantage)
• Comfortable with Git, VS Code, and modern coding standards
• Passion for clean, reusable, efficient code
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Experience in insurance or telematics is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Enhance and extend a custom-built Streamlit telematics platform
• Integrate Python apps with SQL databases, Azure services, and third-party APIs
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines for scoring and real-time reporting
• Develop interactive dashboards with visualizations including geospatial views
• Refactor code for improved performance, scalability, and modularity
• Contribute to architectural and design decisions through prototyping and testing
• Support AI/ML projects like risk scoring, alerting, and event detection
