Job Description

Fidelity Services Group, a pioneer in integrated security solutions, is seeking Armed Response Officers in George to patrol and respond to client needs and signals from the monitoring centre. This role is critical to ensuring client safety through thorough premises checks and proactive engagement, aligning with Fidelity’s commitment to innovative and reliable security services across Southern Africa.

Requirements

• Grade 10
• PSIRA Registered Grade C & AR
• Firearm competency
• Valid driver’s license (minimum 2 years)
• Master drive
• Area knowledge

Responsibilities

• Familiarise yourself with the assigned area
• Maintain response times as required by management
• Demonstrate necessary driving skills and use the shortest possible routes
• Familiarise yourself with client premises
• Follow up with clients after serious incidents and offer assistance
• Pay special attention to all calls and assist with any problems or complaints
• Conduct public relations and introduction calls to new clients
• Ensure client safety by thoroughly checking premises and prioritising client welfare
• Show empathy and listen attentively to clients
• Provide full feedback to clients where necessary
• Maintain uniform etiquette and comply with Standing Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Ensure the general appearance of the vehicle and complete daily/weekly checklists
• Maintain personal hygiene
• Participate in daily parades
• Submit comprehensive reports and feedback as requested
• Follow correct radio procedures as prescribed by ADT Security
• Provide accurate information to both upward and downward channels
• Keep workstation/office neat and tidy
• Attend all required meetings and training sessions
• Maintain expert knowledge of all facets pertaining to the position
• Avoid using company telephone for private calls
