Job Description

Absa Bank Limited is seeking a Relationship Executive to optimise profit and economic value of Small Business key account portfolios. Responsibilities include client origination, cross-selling, portfolio servicing, and risk management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver corporate and investment banking solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and Professional Qualifications in Business, Commerce or Management Studies
• Proven ability to optimise Small Business client portfolios for profit and value
• Experience in client acquisition and cross-selling strategies
• Strong relationship management skills as the main client contact
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting portfolios
• Ownership of portfolio risk management

Responsibilities

• Own the primary client relationship for corporate and investment banking needs
• Take accountability for service delivery by setting engagement rules for cross-functional teams including Transactional Banker, Credit Analyst, and Client Service Consultant
• Drive origination, cross-sell, and coverage aligned to segment CVP
• Manage portfolio risk with attention to regulatory and compliance standards
• Ensure high-quality client service and adherence to bank policies
