Internal Sales Representative

Job Description

Finding Personnel seeks an Internal Sales Representative to assist walk-in customers with sales, quotations, invoicing, and product queries. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service, and attention to administrative accuracy.

Requirements

• Matric or sales qualification
• Minimum 1 year experience in sales, telesales, or as a salesperson
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of safety products (advantageous)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Telephone etiquette
• Attention to detail and ability to confidently approach clients
• Neat, presentable, and professional work ethic

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with professionalism
• Provide accurate product information and advise on new items
• Handle quotes, invoices, credit notes, and customer enquiries
• Assist customers with exchanges, returns, and complaints
• Submit out-of-stock orders to order clerk and follow up on quotes
• Ensure correct documentation for all transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized counter and display area
• Support store staff in maintaining tidy product racks
• Act as a counter supervisor by resolving issues and applying product knowledge
