Job Description

Sondlo & Knopp Advertising, in collaboration with the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA), offers a 12-month Graphic & Web Design Internship in East London. This programme provides unemployed South African graduates with practical exposure in branding, visual communication, and responsive web development. Interns will work in a dynamic environment, receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, and earn a MICT SETA-accredited certificate, preparing them for a career in the creative and digital media industry.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Web Development, or a related field
• Unemployed South African citizen
• Passion for user-centered digital design
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS)
• Ability to provide certified copies of ID and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create branding and visual communication assets
• Design user interface (UI) elements for digital platforms
• Develop responsive web designs
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for design projects
• Work with content management systems (CMS)
• Collaborate with creative teams under mentorship
• Contribute to projects that enhance Sondlo & Knopp’s digital presence
